Indeed

This integration controls posting to indeed.com and its various country-specific versions.

Please familiarize yourself with this article to find out about various caveats relating to idibu's Indeed posting integration.

Non-dynamic feed

Indeed is a non-dynamic integration, as indicated by the <dynamic>no</dynamic> element in the Portal Management webservice responses. This is because it operates on a batch-upload basis, where all Jobs land in XML files hosted on idibu's servers.

These files then need to be processed by Indeed, which happens at regular intervals, every four hours. Some jobs, however, may require a longer approval period and may not appear even until the following day.

idibu has no means to confirm whether and when an advert successfully landed on Indeed. The posting status in idibu will only reflect that the Job has been added, updated, or deleted in idibu's batch-upload file that Indeed then processes. Each advert's approval is subject to Indeed's discretion and outside of idibu's control. To minimize the risk of ads getting rejected, your Clients should strictly adhere to Indeed's job posting rules and policies, as well as keep all the information listed here in mind.

For more information, please refer to the non-dynamic integrations section.

Login details

There are two login Extra Fields that can be filled in when subscribing to Indeed. Both are optional but should be considered to maximize the integration's efficiency:

Company Name (indeed_company)

By default, the Client account's or User's company name will be used when posting to Indeed. However, for the adverts to be accepted by Indeed, that company name must perfectly match the data on the client's Indeed account. Therefore, to avoid inconsistencies between the company names your Clients have configured in your system or in idibu, it is recommended that this field be used for Indeed specifically.

Indeed Campaign Tag (indeed_ctaga)

This field can be used by the Client to identify their Sponsored campaign as part of which their Job should be published (see below on the subject of Sponsored postings). This field can also be overridden on a per-Post basis using the indeed_ctag Extra Field.

Indeed does not allow organic (free) postings through idibu or any other multiposter or 3rd-party posting provider. Clients must have an active Sponsored campaign with Indeed, identified either through the indeed_ctaga or indeed_ctag Extra Fields, or applied to the job on the Client's Indeed account following the posting and processing of the advert. Clients should contact their Indeed representative to establish the Sponsored campaign and its budget for their postings, preferably informing them that jobs will be or have already been uploaded via idibu.
